Today I have come to you in disguise to talk about frustration tolerance and how you can help yourself manage the challenges and small problems that come your way.
Follow Up Activities:
- What things have you built into your day that help you "turn down the heat" and build your frustration tolerance? Examples: regular exercise, building with legos, mindfulness, time in nature
- What are the strategies you use to deescalate (calm yourself down and get control back) when you notice that you are upset, angry, or frustrated? Examples: take a deep breath, go for a walk, take a break and cuddle with a stuffy
