Mini-Lesson #3- "Scaredy Squirrel" & Balancing Routine With Flexibility

Scaredy Squirrel read aloud and tips on balancing routine with flexibility!  Tomorrow we talk about the brain and responding to your worry voice.

Follow Up Activities:

  • How is your family balancing creating at-home routines, while also being flexible and attempting to adapt to all the changes to our schedule?
    • If you haven't already, put your schedule in writing.  I would love to see it!  Have your parents send me an email with how you are spending your days.
    • Does your schedule allow for flexibility?  Maybe you have windows of time to get something done (example-read for 20 minutes sometime between 9-10) or you have choices (examples- a list of 3 things you can write about, or 3 blocks during the day for reading, writing, and math but you get to choose the order).
  • Get some fresh air!!!!  It's sunny and gorgeous today! I'd love to see some pictures of kids enjoying the great outdoors.
  • Don't forget!  If you are struggling please have your parents reach out to me via email and we will make a plan to support you.

I love and miss you all!!!!!
