Follow Up Activities:
- Practice the mindful strategies used in the video:
- Take some deep breaths. Notice your breathing. Where do you feel your breath?
- Belly Breathing- give a small stuffed animal a ride
- Square Breathing- trace in the air or on paper
- Get a small, healthy snack. Practice mindfulness by focusing on each bite. Pay close attention to your chewing and the taste and feel of the food in your mouth. Try to give all your focus and attention to your snack.
- How else can you practice mindfulness today? Remember anytime you are able to stay in the moment and focus your attention on one thing, you are practicing mindfulness!
