We then divided up in groups and talked about the why behind what we put on our lists. We noticed that the things on our "good at" list were things that we practiced regularly and enjoy doing. We also noticed that things on our "not good at" list were things that we did not do regularly or put time, energy, and love into.
Students then identified one thing on their "not good at" list that they would like to feel more positive about. We then created plans to improve in the identified area. We know that if we put time, energy, and passion into it, we can train our brain to do anything!
From "I'm not good at that" to "I have a plan to improve"
