Mini-Lesson #36- Mindful Mantras

Today we are going to use words and phrases to help us feel positive about the day ahead.  Check out my video to learn more!




Follow Up Activities:
  • Choose a mantra that you think can help you have a great day.  Create a sign or poster that features your mantra.  Hang it up somewhere you will see it frequently.  Use your mantra throughout the day!
  • Picture the kind of day that you would like to have.  You might picture yourself sitting calmly in your workspace, getting your school work done one subject at a time.  Imagine how good it will feel when everything is done.  How proud you feel because you worked hard and did your best learning.  You might picture yourself getting along well with your family and having fun together once everyone's work is done.  Picturing yourself having a great day will help you to make choices to create that kind of day!
