Mini-Lesson #18- Reboot!

Today we are going to focus on doing things that help us get out of a negative thoughts-feelings-actions cycle.  Watch today's video to learn to make your own reboot strategy jar!

Follow-Up Activities:
  • Create your own reboot strategy jar!
    • Think about things that make you feel good, activities that help you feel better when you are struggling.
    • Grab a piece of construction paper in your favorite color and write down all the activities that make you feel good.  Have a goal of 10 activities/actions.
    • Cut out each strategy and put it in a fun container.  You can choose to decorate a shoe box with things that make you happy and put your strategies in that.
  • Notice when you are struggling with difficult feelings or having negative thinking.  Choose one of your strategies and use it!  Notice how your thoughts and feelings change.
