So Many Acts of Kindness Already!

Happy New School Year!  

I always spend the first days of a new school year being highly visible to students.  I go out to recess. I eat in the cafeteria.  I am greeting students at the front door during arrival and dismissal.  It's the best way for me to support kids that need it and catch up with all of my student friends.

This year I also started doing something new.  I've started collecting the kind acts that I see, as I travel all over the building and school grounds.  I'm taking pictures when appropriate or jotting myself a note.

Since I am all about decorating this year, I've decided to put all of my documentation of the kind acts by Pond Cove students up around my door.  I have never been more happy to walk in my office!
